The Grove at Miramar retail center has broken ground and already has some tenants signed up.
The 45,000-square-foot shopping center will be at the southeast corner of Miramar Boulevard and Flamingo Road. The developer said the project would cost $15 million and be completed in July 2019. Miramar Square LLC, managed by Santiago Garcia Menendez in Miami, recently obtained a $7.5 million construction loan for the project from Miami-based Miramar Square Lending. The borrower is an affiliate of Elit LLC, co-founded by Victor E. Taurizano and Pablo E. Jeannot. “Over the last 10 years, the City of Miramar has been a hotspot for commercial and residential development,” said Taurizano, who is also broker manager at Novus Realty. “With its strategic location and sophisticated design, The Grove will offer tenants premium commercial space in a well-travelled area and provide residents and visitors with convenience, accessibility and an elite retail experience.” The general contractor for the Grove at Miramar is GC Construction. It was designed by Gallo Herbert Architects. According to the developer, childcare franchise the Learning Experience signed a lease for 10,000 square feet and dental practice Den-Vest for 1,400 square feet. The leasing agent for the Grove at Miramar is Horizon Properties.
